The Two Islands Mark's House is set to be displayed in Michigan's Flint region. The title stems from a faux Flint resident who lost his residence due to foreclosure.
The architectural team that is known as Two Islands is from London in spite of the Americana-themed project. The temporary installation will be erected this summer, the funding of which has been provided to Two Islands by way of a prize grant.
Mark's House appears to be floating in mid air due to the mirrored stand that it sits upon. During the warm weather, the structure will hold 1,500 gallons of water that will stream down on visitors. This will last until the fall when it will be deconstructed.
