Music Scene-Inspired Sneakers

New Balance and Overkill Drop Shoes Representing Berlin's Two Faces

Overkill and New Balance join forces on a collaborative collection of sneakers that are designed to represent Berlin's 'Two Faces.' The capsule draws attention to the retailer's roots through the M1530 and the M1500 footwear model, which are also chosen to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The two faces represent the city's clubbing history -- one side of the party goers are dressed entirely in black whereas others are dressed in a plethora of bright colors. The M1530 is delivered in triple black and the M1500 is adorned in bright colors. Both sneakers are constructed from heavy pig skin suede materials throughout the uppers and feature co-branded logos at the insoles. The colorful iteration notable showcases embroidery of "Equality," "Diversity," and "Unity" at the tongue.
