Twitter recently announced that it has extended its work-from-home period indefinitely and that employees can choose to continue remote work well after the COVID-19 pandemic. The brand shares its ability for effective remote work capacities stems from its "emphasis on decentralization."
For employees that want to return to the office, Twitter shared it's happy to welcome them back, however, the brand doesn't foresee this occurring until proper measures are put in place to assure the safety of its staff. The return to work period will be "careful, intentional, office by office and gradual." Moreover, all business travel before September 2020 has been suspended with very few and carefully thought out exceptions.
