This afternoon, Mashable brought its readers news of Twitter’s Project Retweet, which aims to make the ever-present RT a natively-supported feature of the Twitter homepage and all third-party apps.
Twitter users know that the retweet is a great way to pass along a worthwhile tweet from someone you’re following to those who are following you. It’s a practice among users that has evolved since Twitter’s inception, and as he introduced Project Retweet, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone said, "Retweeting is a great example of Twitter teaching us what it wants to be."
