The Truck De-luxe Restaurant is an American-inspired eatery in Tel Aviv that aims to recreate the food truck culture inside a sit-down restaurant. Designed by Gilad Zaafrany and Lotan Singer of OPA studio, the space is decked out like any Southern Californian tex-mex taco joint, with even the mismatched seating adding to the lifestyle.
The Truck De-luxe Restaurant is brightly outfitted with colorful tiled mosaics on the walls and simplistic freestanding lights that have been arranged to appear like zig zags. The space makes great use of the unfinished wood walls by providing spotlights on the more polished features of the joint, like the well-stocked bar or floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a glimpse outside into the square.
