Wienerschnitzel is Selling a Trio of Hot Dogs Inspired by US Cities

While the fourth of July may still be many months away, Wienerschnitzel is getting a jump start on patriotism with trio of hot dogs inspired by US cities. Instead of the standard dressing of ketchup and mustard, these gourmet sausages come topped with the best ingredients from across the US.

Wienerschnitzel's new trio of hot dogs is part of what the chain is calling its 'Hot Dogs From Around the USA' menu. Each hot dog is designed to represent a different US by featuring the region's best ingredients. The first of the new hot dogs is the Green Chile Chili Cheese Dog, which celebrates Hatch, New Mexico, through the use of Hatch Valley green chilies. The second sausage in the bunch is the Blazin' Teriyaki Pineapple Dog, which combines Blazin' Teriyaki sauce and pieces of pineapple to represent the cuisine of Maui, Hawaii. Finally, the Chicago Dog combines onions, tomato, relish, mustard, a pickle spear and sport peppers for the ultimate Windy City treat.
