Treets Piasten has unveiled a new vegan-friendly chocolate treat created in collaboration with Planet A Foods-owned ChoViva to provide consumers with a cocoa-free candy product. The product starts off with premium peanuts that are coated in ChoViva's vegan-friendly chocolate alternative crafted with sunflower seeds. The treats are then covered in a sugar coating in a variety of pastel colors for a touch of additional sweetness and crispiness.
The new Treets Piasten product is available now at Kaufland, Famila, Globus, Edeka and Tegut locations, and also features a lower carbon footprint when compared to existing vegan chocolate products on the market. This is reported by ChoViva to be 82.7% lower in terms of CO2 emissions to give the candy an eco-friendly profile.
