Subculture Street Art Shops

The TOYKIO Store is Three Shopping Areas in One

The TOYKIO Store in Dusseldorf, Germany, is superbly unique.

The concept store contains three different sections; a cafe, a gallery and a shop. The store was based off of two inspirations. The first was the Brooklyn coffee scene, which boasts galleries of art and photography, and the second was the handmade pastries of Sydney, Australia.

The TOYKIO Store itself carries toy products from Futura, Kaws, Michael Lau as well as Ron English. The gallery has contemporary art in addition to its subculture-oriented art. The cafe boasts a delicious menu and rich coffee.

The store is the first of its kind in Germany and is clearly unique in its style. The Brooklyn inspiration is clearly displayed throughout the store and the shop is definitely a must-see for any Germany-bound travelers.
