Designer Kateryna Sokolova created the Totoro Furniture Collection for Italian brand Driade and it features designs with soft rounded curves and playful silhouettes inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro. The anime-inspired furniture collection consists of an upholstered chair, an armchair and a three-seater sofa, plus coffee tables to add even more functionality to the seating solutions.
Visually, the designs emphasize the seat, backrest and legs, which creates a sense of comfort. Available in fabric and leather options, the seating solutions can be accented by table with asymmetrical support systems with one leg that's larger than the others in size.
The Totoro Furniture Collection, unveiled at Milan Design Week, made its debut at the Lavazza flagship location and provided colorful, playful places for people to enjoy refreshments.
