Laundry-Doing Penguin Ads

The Total Cold Wash Campaign is Adorably Clean

There's a big misconception that only hot water can properly clean your clothes, but this Total Cold Wash advertisement proves this completely wrong.

Set in a below-zero climate with penguins doing their laundry, this ad sends its message in an adorable way that makes it hard to resist smiling at. The two penguins in front wash their clothes in a hole cut through the ice - obviously the water is colder than what most households would be used to, but these penguins seem to have perfectly clean clothes despite the cooler temps. A lone penguin in the back peers over their shoulders skeptically. The advertisement was done by Advico Young & Rubicam in Zurich, Switzerland.

Cute and not what I would expected to see from a laundry detergent company, this Total Cold Wash ad has definitely made me believe in the power of cold water.
