Cilantro is one of the most divisive herbs out there, but Japan is making a bet that there are more cilantro lovers than haters out there with its new Too Much Cilantro Pizza.
Just as the name suggests, Pizza Hut Japan's Too Much Cilantro Pizza starts with a regular pizza crust topped with pizza cause, mozzarella cheese, shrimp, yangnyeom sauce (a sweet and spicy sauce), and a very generous portion of fresh cilantro. According to Pizza Hut Japan, the new Too Much Cilantro Pizza is meant to appeal to Gen Z, which is apparently a cilantro-loving generation. In fact, the blurb for the description of the new pizza reads: "a non-standard amount of cilantro that surprises generation Z and cilantro-lovers."
