Tiny Earth Toys is Launching a Kickstarter for 'Tiny Spaces'

Tiny Earth Toys has introduced Tiny Spaces, a novel dollhouse that doubles as a bookshelf, marking a significant innovation in the toy industry. This product is designed to inspire imaginative play while also addressing the critical issue of plastic waste. The UNEP Valuing Plastics Report indicates that the toy sector is the most plastic-intensive globally, with 90% of toys made from plastic and 80% ending up in landfills, incinerators, or oceans. Tiny Spaces challenges this trend with its modular design, promising longevity and sustainability. It is the brainchild of Rachael Classi and Catherine Bhattachar, who have a strong commitment to redefining playtime. Their extensive research into play and toy sustainability led to the creation of Tiny Spaces, which is designed to be tall and spacious, features a 360-degree spin, and is modular and convertible. It is made from FSC-certified wood and water-based paints, ensuring environmental responsibility.

Tiny Spaces will be available for purchase on May 14th, 2024, at 12 pm Eastern Time through a Kickstarter campaign. Over 4,150 families have already joined the waitlist, indicating a high demand for this eco-friendly toy. Tiny Earth Toys, based in Durham, NC, focuses on sustainability, creativity, and longevity in playtime. The company aims to set a new standard for eco-friendly toy innovation with Tiny Spaces.
