Created by DeviantARTist La-Chapeliere-Folle, these Tim Burton-inspired Avengers illustrations make the superhero team look as though they’re about to disassemble.
For anyone who was heartbroken by the fact that Tim Burton never got asked to make the Avengers movie, here’s a little consolation art. These reimagined rescuers exhibit nearly every conceivable feature of a typical Tim Burton character, from lanky appendages to the pointy chin, and even the giant saucer-like eyes with tiny little pupils.
While there are currently no discussions to have Tim Burton take the helm for the Avengers sequel, I’m sure the actors reprising their roles from the original movie are thankful they won’t have to shed 70 pounds and avoid sunlight to get that classic Tim Burton look portrayed by Jonny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter in so many of his films.
