Those who are familiar with WikiFoods are going to be incredibly excited by the opening of the WikiBar. The WikiBar is a restaurant in Paris that serves the future-forward startups food. For those who aren't familiar with WikiFoods, the idea behind them is that they come in edible packaging, thus eliminating the need for plastic, aluminum foil and other forms of environmentally damaging products.
The WikiBar was designed by Mathieu Lehanneur. Its central attraction is the hexagonal pattern that hangs off its ceiling. The pattern is actually inspired by the molecular structure of the edible lamination that covers the WikiFoods. The company's story is printed along the WikiBar's walls. Food served at the bar includes ice cream that doesn't melt, yogurt that can be eaten without a spoon and cheese! A second WikiBar is set to open soon in Massachusetts.
