Bathroom Tissue Fashion Shows: Part II

Farley Chatto Talks Curating the White Cashmere Collection

The runways of the fashion world are usually ruled by chic models draped in designer leathers, but designer Farley Chatto, who is serving as the curator of the White Cashmere Collection, aims to take a slightly more edgy approach.

Chatto, a native of Regina, Saskatchewan, is a world-renowned designer who studied fashion at Ryerson University in Toronto and was recently named one of the top eight designers in Canada. He is serving as both the collection curator and a returning designer for this great event that sees numerous Canadian designers raising awareness and funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with their beautiful BT (bathroom tissue) gowns.

Chatto explains that some of the greatest challenges involved with designing BT couture revolves around getting a proper understanding of how this delicate toiletry performs as dress material, while also incorporating distinct styles into these ornate, cotton-composed garments.
