Based on an illustration by Eric Flores, The Simpsons cake is a delicious 3-dimensional interpretation of Ralph Wiggum if he was partially dissected. The beloved Simpsons character was originally drawn with half of his insides showing. This ridiculously realistic cake version was created by baker and graphic designer Kylie Mangles of Freshley Squeez'd.
The Simpsons cake was created over five days as an entry in a cake competition on threadcakes.com. The extremely detailed dessert does feature some inedible parts in Ralphie's structure, but also incorporates red velvet cake, buttercream, modelling chocolate and fondant.
It's such an accurate replication that it's actually difficult to tell the difference in some of the images and looks nothing like something you should be eating (in the best way).
