Australia-based photographer Adam Jackman-Moore created this playful series of pun-inspired dog portraits titled 'The Pug Life.' Each image from this photography collection shows an adorable pug dressed up like a famous rapper or hip-hop artist.
The series highlights talented artists from the 1980s and 90s. The simplistic costumes reveal just enough of a node to each artist so the viewer can easily identify the pun. For example, in order to represent Ice Cube, the pooch is wearing an Afro wig, a comb in his hair and a massive gold chain.
Additionally, each pooch in The Pug Life is given a punny name as well. Ice Cube translates to Ice Pug and 2-PAC translates to 2-PUG. Even the title of the series is a pun, which give a subtle nod the commonly recognized phrase The Thug Life.
