The OMLAMP Opens to Reveal a Hypnotic Elegance

The OMLAMP is the brainchild of Ming Luo. Inspired by the ancient art of origami, the unique design unfolds its illuminating flaps to reveal a hypnotic elegance. Modular by nature, the lamp has no top or bottom, which means users can configure the lamp in many different ways for a unique tabletop accessory.

The portable lamp features a beech/walnut wood body with a hand-folded lampshade. Users can open the flaps fully to join them at the top, creating a glowing paper circle. Users can also open one flap at a time to create various geometric shapes. Tyvek paper is used for the shade to ensure it is waterproof and tearproof. In addition, the lamp comes equipped with a brass dimmer knob to adjust its brightness easily.
