The Obello Lamp is entering production for the first time, thanks to GUBI. The lamp was initially designed by American designer Bill Curry in 1971 and was influenced by the atomic age, the space race, and pop culture of the 1970s. Before it could enter production, Curry passed away.
GUBI honors the designer by bringing the lamp to life. Known for his revolutionary lighting designs, Curry's spirit lives on through the mushroom-shaped outdoor lamp. Obello boasts a frosted, mouth-blown glass shade and a dimmable LED light. It can be used indoors and outdoors and offers a warm glow in either setting. After only four and half hours of charging, the Obello Lamp provides up to 40 hours of illumination.
