The Act of Quad Creates the Light Box in Mumbai, India

Founder of The Act of Quad Priyanka Itadkar and Falguni Bhatia creates their own interior design studio dubbed the Light Box. To create the space, the team transforms a former library in Mumbai, India into a contemporary shed. The library was first constructed in 1965 and has been abandoned for over 30 years.

It has then been dismantled and partially built to result in what is now an all-white external structure with a see-through facade. The duo explains that the Light box is "our space for creative incubation, a space that responds to and reflects the nature of the work we do and a space to dream. The studio space becomes a sensorial oasis in a saturated, digitized environment."
