Luxe Modern Hotel Renovations

The Kabuki Hotel Underwent an Extensive $31 Million Renovation

Brooklyn-based MARKZEFF Design recently completed a redesign of the Kabuki Hotel in San Francisco. With 225 guest rooms that spread over the former Japanese Consulate and a classic 1960s community center, the entire space was made with inspiration from the surrounding neighborhood's bohemian spirit and minimal Japanese design.

The team used grey accent walls, stitched leather furniture and hand-picked art pieces to create unique and original spaces. The lobby features Douglas fir beams paired with vintage factory windows -- giving off an airy loft-like aesthetic. Filled with high-end amenities, the hotel has a new 3,000 square foot gym, zen garden and a luxurious lobby bar.

The Kabuki Hotel brings a sense of meditation to traveling, designed to give guests the most calm and comfortable stay as possible.
