'The Family Game' Encourages Low-Tech Bonding and Communication

In order to shift family leisure time from being centered around gaming consoles and other digital devices to healthier bonding activities, 'The Family Game' was created.

The Family Game is designed to include the whole family. Many trivia-style games don't attempt to separate the different levels of questions by a player's age or expertise, but this is where The Family Game is unique. It has different kinds of questions, including a sets for kids (Budding Brains) and adults (Boffs and SuperBoffs.) To deepen the educational values of the game, all of the Budding Brains questions follow the UK National Curriculum. In posing a challenge for players of all ages, the game is designed to foster fun, bonding and the development of communication skills without any interference from technology.

The board game is currently running as a project on Kickstarter, aiming to raise a total of £25,000 for production and manufacturing.
