Gofi, the Barcelona-based contemporary furniture and lighting design brand, adapted the Fa Mini tabletop lamp from a previous model. Originally, the Fa Light was made to illuminate the paintings of Ramón Casa in an art exhibition that was held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu opera house in Barcelona.
The lamp was later refined by Gofi designers Álvaro Goula and Pablo Figuera to introduce the Fa Mini. While the remodeled lamp is smaller in height than the original Fa, it carries the same minimal form as its floor lamp model. The simple design consists of a solid steel base, a thin rode, a spotlight, and a magnet and O-ring. As a multifunctional lamp, the design comes in several color options.
