Anti-Texting School Ads

These Texting in School Ads for M6 Mobile Show Learning Interrupted

These M6 Mobile by Orange ads show just how distracting texting in school can be. Although it's pretty hard to fight cellphone use in schools, these ads make a pretty humorous case against students texting in class.

To make its argument, the ads show extremely ancient-looking textbooks with messed up lessons about the Pythagoras Theorem, which is more about a love triangle between Andy and Barbara versus a real geometry lesson, or an excerpt about Neil Armstrong, which is derailed by texts and turns his trip to the moon into an adventure to the washroom instead. Although a series of static print ads might not be the most effective way to deter texting in school for good, the M6 Mobile by Orange ads sure are funny.
