In South Korea, atop a cliff, and surrounded by a beautiful rocky landscape is this incredibly elegant terracotta house Named the 'Seosaeng House,' the structure was conceived by the London-based architecture practice Studio Weave.
For the visual design of the terracotta house, Studio Weave embraced tradition as Director Je Ahn notes: "We were inspired by Korean colors and textures and looked to create a home that demonstrates how traditional domestic architecture could be reimagined through a contemporary sensibility." Throughout the terracotta house, one may see subtle tradition-inspired elements like the long stones at the front entrance where individuals can leave their shoes in respect of Korean customs.
Another selling point of this beautiful design is the surrounding landscape as the structure is privy to a 180-degree view of the Eastern Sea.
