Designer Teresa Mateus Lundahl of the ceramic label Mateus recently launched a new concept she dubbed The Rendevouz, which uniquely combines two elements of her background: Swedish modernism, and Portuguese tradition. The result was a gorgeous ceramic collection that sits on the intersection of art and functional design, presenting the modern consumer with dinnerware that doubles as meticulously made decor.
The first collection under The Rendevouz is called 'Stripes,' which takes inspiration from 60s design and aims to encapsulate all the moments and memories that take place around the dinner table. As a result, each eclectic plate was designed to be mix-and-matched so that the dinnerware is more reminiscent of the unique character of the home.
