CdG by COMME des GARÇONS works in collaboration with Spalwart once again on a new iteration of the Tempo Trainer. The footwear model is spotlighted by the textures in the new partnership. The upper is made up of soft velvet materials with leather paneling through to give it some textile contrast.
The color is done in all-black with some white details to give it tonal accents without disrupting the minimal aesthetic. There is very subtle branding as both contributing efforts can see the names in a block typography at the tongue tab. The retro silhouette boasts a wedge-like look, showcasing the waffle outside and highly positioned toe. Black leather can be seen at the mid panel to contrast the soft velvet.
