The Philadelphia x H&H Bagels Tax-Free Bagel is Limited-Edition

The Philadelphia x H&H Bagels Tax-Free Bagel has been created just in time for tax season as a cheeky promotion baked good that's both delicious and, as its name suggests, tax-free. The bagel was created in partnership between Philadelphia Cream Cheese and New York City-based H&H Bagels as a cheeky baked good that exploits a loophole to help avoid taxation. The bagel is unsliced and filled with Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and thus not subject to the New York tax related to prepared foods, which sliced bagels with cream cheese would otherwise fall under.

Senior Brand Manager, Philadelphia at the Kraft Heinz Company Keenan White spoke on the Philadelphia x H&H Bagels Tax-Free Bagel saying, "A bagel with Philly cream cheese is an experience that so many know and love, so in partnership with H&H bagels, we wanted to provide a delicious solution to this silly tax in a way that kept the enjoyment of our brand at its core, literally."
