Utility-Focused Nylon Boots

Dr. Martens Unveils New 'Tarik Boot' in Four Iterations

Iconic British footwear brand Dr. Martens has unveiled the 'Tarik Boot' as part of its newest collection titled 'Tarian.'

Playing off Dr. Marten's classic silhouettes, the 'Tarik Boot' blends familiar elements with distinct, utility-focused materials. Here, the soft edges of the Chelsea boot don black nylon panels on the uppers and present a hiking-inspired eight-eye lace system. In addition, the boot features a more robust, rubber outsole and rounded toe boxes.

Of course, the 'Tarik Boot' also presents Dr. Marten's signature yellow welt stitching around the outsole, as well the brand's iconic 'AirWair' heel tag. While the boot is being offered in both leather and nylon variations, there's no doubt that the '50/50 Nylon' version is the standout piece within the collection. This is due, in large part, to the fact that it represents Dr. Marten's embrace of hiking-oriented fashion, which has taken off in the past couple of years.
