Bandai brought back Tamagotchi Angel, an Original Gen 3 device introduced in 1998, with soft, fresh pastel color palette and angel-themed virtual pets.
Alongside the return of the Tamagotchi Angel, Bandai UK announced the release of four new Japanese-style Tamagotchi Connection models as requested by the brand’s fan community: Melon Soda, Pink Glitter, Blue Glitter, and retail-exclusive Pearl Flower.
"The reintroduction of both the Connection and Gen3 Angel devices taps into a perfect blend of nostalgia and latest trends within the interactive pets’ space to bring an endless appeal," said Priya Jadeja, Tamagotchi Brand manager at Bandai UK. At the same time, these devices speak to surging interests in Japanese culture, and appeal to a new generation of fans, collectors and kids.
