To support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has teamed up with the streetwear brand Supreme to create a charitable Takashi Murakami x Supreme shirt.
To support COVID-19 relief efforts, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the Takashi Murakami x Supreme shirt will go to HELP USA, which aims to help youth and families that are facing homelessness during the pandemic. The shirt itself features Murakami's original artwork—some smiley sunflower graphics—in the logo box for the Supreme brand name. Murakami’s logo is also on the back of the T-shirt above the words "COVID-19 Relief Fund 2020."
The Takashi Murakami x Supreme shirt will officially be available in the US and Canada from the Supreme website on April 24, 2020.
