Those living in urban areas are used to seeing huge, poster-plastered walls that form a barrier between a construction site and the city. Since these walls are visually unappealing and do not contribute much socially, designers Kooho Jung and Hayeon Kelly Choi have created the Symbiotic Green Wall in an attempt to enhance these construction buffers.
The Symbiotic Green Wall is meant to provide protection from construction areas as well as contribute to the city's ecologicial elements. With plant pods, sitting areas, and bird nests, the Symbiotic Green Wall offers pedestrians a visually-pleasing public space. It contributes to the environment through effective rainwater and wastewater management, as well as environmental sensors that can track noise, air, and dust quality around the site.
