London-based architecture firm Grimshaw has recently released plans for a new Sydney office tower overlooking the harbor. According to the architects, the building is explicitly designed to appeal to professional Millennials, with the goal of attracting innovators in the creative, technology, and financial sectors.
The Sydney office tower will consist of three interlocking volumes, each of which faces outward in a different direction. The two tallest mirror each other, with one covered entirely in glass and the other entirely in concrete. From the top of the glass volume, which is 26 stories high, occupants will be able to get a view of the historic Sydney Opera house as well as the idyllic Sydney harbor and shoreline.
