The Surreal World by Horst Diekgerdes for Elle US is Elegant

The Surreal World by Horst Diekgerdes for Elle US is a colorful new series featured in this month’s August 2012 issue. This editorial shows model Kristine Drinke at Trump Models dressed head-to-toe in sophisticated ebony and crimson red formal wear that is perfect for a night out on the town.

The photographer Horst Diekgerdes chose a bizarre setting complete with a black and white zigzagged floor, ruby red draping curtains and historic sculptures. The stylist Brian Molloy has dressed Kristine in red lace dresses, checkered blouses, long pans, fur vests and long leather jackets. The model’s hair is pulled back, volumized and lightly curled, giving her an elegant 1990s hairstyle.

This editorial recreates a similar look to the 1990s television show called Tween Peaks.
