Art Incubator Showcases

The Cockpit Arts Summer Open Studios is a Business-Supporting Festival

It's that time of year again, summer in some parts of the world, which with it, comes the Cockpit Arts Summer Open Studios event. Cockpit is a creative business incubator and social enterprise that SocialBusiness.org covered in December 2011.

Made specifically for "designer-makers," Summer Open Studios, an annual event, becomes an important way to showcase the work that is created in their network. There are over 165 designers who show their work at the two events: Holborn's takes place from June 7 to 9 and Deptford's takes place the following weekend, from June 14 to 16. The event also includes food and drinks by Hand Made Food.
