The Subjective Atlas of Hungary is an unusual, provocative country guide created by 30 local artists and designers to represent today's Hungary from a visual, social and cultural perspective.
The latest installment of the Subjective Atlas series, created by Dutch designer Annelys de Vet, is true to the artistic concept expressed in the original Subjective Atlas of Palestine, Subjective Atlas of Serbia and Subjective Atlas of the Netherlands books to visually represent ever-evolving national identities, issues, controversies, hopes, dreams and every-day beauties of nations. The books are created during a two-week workshop with the collaboration of leading designers, artists and thinkers. The created artworks are edited and organized by Annelys de Vet. The result is witty, intelligent, thought-provoking and at times, odd.
