The reason the majority of the burritos are labeled with the phrase "smothered" is because after they are grilled, they are topped with more cheese and sauce. The grilled smoked chicken burrito and the smothered smoked chicken burrito comes with a smoky pasilla-honey chile sauce. The prime rib burrito has an ancho-chile sauce and a green chile sauce. Finally, the smothered carnitas burrito has the classic green chile sauce and black bean salsa.
