Recently the Svet Vmes Architects design firm was challenged to create a relaxing student lounge space for a school in Ljubljana. The end result was a white room filled with wavy green furniture and big puffed up pillows. This room provides students with a comfortable place to read, study and work on assignments between classes.
Wavy green sofas and pillows line the entire room, which means that there's plenty of space for people to work, by themselves or in groups. This curvaceous, modern space seems like an adult playroom more than anything. At times students might be tempted to have pillow fights or slip and slide down the sides of these money green couches, but no matter how they use the space, they're guaranteed to enjoy it.
