Future-forward in concept, the brand Happy99 has a number of striking digital streetwear fashion collections at its core. The label is the joint venture of Nathalie Nguyen and her partner Dominic Lopez who vegan exploring the possibilities of shoe design. After many months of research and learning everything relevant that was related to the shoe-making process and business launch, they were discouraged and placed the idea on-hold. About this, Nguyen shared with Nylon magazine that "[their] passion as artists is more in the design realm; what threw [them] off was the manufacturing. It's horrible for the environment."

As the creative started working with 3D design and Lopez was motivated to join her, the two decided to start Happy99, eventually leading to many, high-in-demand digital streetwear fashion collections.
