There are certainly a variety of ways to clean out your body. The Italians eat dandelion greens in the spring. The Indians fast on white rice and yogurt. And Californians have their colonic machines (that's a machine that squirts a whole bunch of water up your butt). Now the Japanese have come out with the Kinoki Cleansing Detox Foot Pads.
I started hearing about this trend a few months ago, as spas in California are now offering an ionic salt bath that supposedly sucks heavy metals and other gross stuff out of your feet. Yes your feet! So Kinoki pads apparently do the same thing. You stick on a packet of salts on each foot, and as you sleep the pads turn brown with all the gunk they are pulling out. Except in my case, the pads stayed white as snow. I guess I'm just too pure.
