The Stonepound Coffee Company distributes organic, eco-friendly and ethically produced coffee in Toronto that helps create sustainable income for indigenous farming families. Launched in February 2011, the coffee is responsibly sourced in the Julia Campbell Agro-Forest located in Pula, Asipulo, Philippines.
The organic civet coffee is "green" and shade-grown, while the forest, a conservation park, is engaged in supporting animal welfare and bio-diversity. Due to the unique collection method of civet coffee, there is only a limited supply of the beans available for pre-order.
The company developed a program, the Stonepound Coffee Community Advancement Fund, in order to create to spur positive social change in Pula. Stonepound also endeavors to pursue responsible, organic growth within the farming municipality.
