Renowned street artist Banksy recently posted a picture of his most recent project -- a Steve Jobs mural dressed as a Syrian refugee. The point Banksy makes is that Apple creator Steve Jobs may not have had the opportunities he did if his family hadn't been allowed into America. Jobs was a son of a Syrian immigrant and achieved a tremendous amount of success before his passing.
The piece was done in a French refugee camp that is home to over 7000 refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and Eritrea. The mural depicts Jobs in his classic black turtleneck and round glasses, with a large bag of his belongings. Along the same wall, Banksy adds a statement that reads, "Nobody deserves to live this way!" -- further asserting his support for refugees during a time of racial tension.
