To some, dousing your Ferrari in neon paint seems anything but viable but the State of the Art Ferrari Project does just that. In a glossy attempt to demonstrate the speed of the 2014 Ferrari model, Ferrari USA mixes technology with art. The colorful storm of paint blown onto the car simply charges the visceral speed and design of the car. Artist Fabien Oefner, the creator of the State of the Art project, uses the Ferrari as its next victim.
Not only does the electric neon paint capture the aerodynamics of the car, but it also captures the sound waves, momentum and optics. Using a rainbow range of color, the artist also beautifully captures the art behind this luxury vehicle. Who would have thought that art and physics could have been this beautiful?
