Living in a harsh winter climate suddenly doesn’t seem so bad thanks to the Star Wars snowspeeder sled. This sled is an epic DIY creation from a person in Iowa known only by their YouTube handle "Fortyozjuicebox." The sled was made out of cardboard and is more or less an exact replica of the snowspeeders used in the Battle of Hoth in the second (technically fifth) Star Wars film.
The Star Wars snowspeeder sled looks great and functions like a normal sled should. It doesn’t fire any lasers or come with a rope to trip AT-ATs, but that’s okay. This sled is a spectacular example of functional geekiness. Don’t be shocked if George Lucas starts releasing Star Wars-inspired snow toys this winter.
