Two-time Academy Award-winning production company Tippett Studios and independent video game developer HappyGiant have teamed up to create 'HoloGrid: Monster Battle', a board-game inspired by designer Paul Tippett's legenadary Star Wars monsters.
Using a technique called "photogrammetry," the same used to bring monsters to life in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' Tippett's amazing vision is translated into a virtual reality that allows users to control the beings in battle. With this, HoloGrid: Monster Battle recreates the characters known and loved by Star Wars fans. Each of the monsters has a unique ability that allows for exciting game play with numerous strategic options and fun reward tiers.
The digital game is currently being backed on Kickstarter, where Tippett Studios and HappyGiant look to gain funding in order to help bring versions of the Star Wars game to iOS and Android devices.
