To launch it's sci-fi Holiday campaign, French department store Galeries Lafayette put on a Star Wars Christmas show unlike any other. The Holiday spectacular featured twinkling lights, marching Stormtroopers and more.
Unveiling its cosmic Christmas window displays, Galeries Lafayette partnered with the Walt Disney Co. for a festive performance including whimsy and geeky appeal. Held right in front of the Parisian flagship, a parade of Jedi, Stormtroopers and robots marched in formation behind the Paris Opera. A spectacular light show and extremely skilled acrobats helped bring this Star Wars Christmas show to life while giant screens broadcasted all the action and played the trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film.
Galeries Lafayette will be hosting sci-fi-themed window displays this season centered around a robot named Léon and his family.
