The designers of Star Brasil packaging have not indicated exactly what the vessel is intended to hold, but it's obvious that the most important aspect of the item is precisely how it looks. Alexandra Ghioc worked with Radu Carnariu to come up with a concept that's Brazilian through and through.
The shape of the frosted glass bottle was influenced by that of traditional Caxixi containers; meanwhile the geometric surface treatment of Star Brasil packaging recreates the diamond shape from the country's flag. The label has been made to fit within that rhombus, enclosing a circle that also emulates the design of the national emblem. Illustrations are scattered in mosaic form all over the sticker, referencing symbols of the country with a technique that copies an old artistic one.
