Sprocket-Exposing Cameras

The Powershovel Brand Creates Camera with Sprocket Patterns

The Blackbird Fly 35MM Twin-Lens Reflex camera by Powershovel is inspired by the old-school iconic Rolleiflex camera of the 1920s. This new beauty has been revived by Japanese cult brand Powershovel. The Blackbird adopts the cool design of the Rolleiflex, but is updated to offer so much more. Unlike other cameras, which would ordinarily use 120-format film, this one uses 35MM film which allows users to print, scan and process.

The uniqueness of the Powershovel Blackbird is in the ability to not only expose the entire film, but the sprocket pattern as well. Photography enthusiasts use one lens like a viewfinder and the other to expose the film.
