The JETSTREAM is a sport handbike designed by a Polish team of designers headed by Jarosław Baranowski for Carbon Design. Their aim was to create a bicycle that would help disabled athletes be active again.
The bicycle form is subject to its functions, as the shape requirements for each vehicle result from the needs of each individual athlete. The JETSTREAM handbike was awarded a Good Design award in 2009 by the Institute of Industrial Design, recently shown at Design Korea 2009, one of the world's best design exhibitions.
