Celebrate the familiar form of your favorite scooping implement with these chic Spoon Variations light fixtures. Designed by Tanja and Tamara Tanaskovic, the pieces are manufactured by Mei Mei Design of Stuttgart, Germany, to feature the forms of eating utensils in several different ways.
The first pair of pendant lamps has been made with sandblasted and varnished stainless steel to feature highly reflective shapes of spoons on the inside of their small and large domed forms. Two ceiling scones are composed of a blend of translucent and opaque glass that projects implement outlines onto the floor and ceiling. Two more hanging lights and a table lamp are also included in the Spoon Variations collection. These stylish objects appear to use actual cutlery to make up their seemingly fractured lampshades.
